The SAFE campaign was a community fundraising campaign to support Safe Academics for Everyone in the Rye City Schools during COVID-19. The campaign raised approximately $150,000 to assist our schools through the pandemic.
Renovation of the Girl’s Softball Field at the RHS in partnership with the Rye City School District and softball families
Renovation and upgrade of the Girl’s Softball Field for our Middle School and High School students in partnership with the RCSD and softball families.
Project Based Learning Initiative K-12 Teachers
Funded the first Active Learning Leaders Cohort in the RCSD for interested teachers in grade 6-12.
Professional Development in Literacy for all K-12 RCSD Teachers
Granted scholarships for summer work at Teachers College at Columbia University and underwritten summer seminars to support the professional development of our teachers
Renovation to the RHS/RMS Band Room in partnership with the HS Parent Organization & MS Parent Organization
Renovation and upgrade of the Band Room for our Middle School and High School students in partnership with the High School and Middle School Parent Organizations.
Renovation of the Deane Flood Fitness Center at RHS
Renovation of the Deane Flood fitness center and weight room at the High School and equipped it with all new state of the art equipment for our students, through the generosity of one of our founding donors.
Creation of the Courtyard in the science wing at RHS
Created, in partnership with the District, the beautiful science addition courtyard: a landscaped, outdoor space for learning, studying or unwinding between classes. The large decorative “G” exemplifies Garnet Pride and is surrounded by pavers and benches, available to commemorate your child.
