Rye alumni are coming together to improve the spaces where Garnet athletes train and play. The Garnet Alumni Athletic Project (GAAP) is an alumni-led fundraising effort to create a new fitness/training center, build a new field house, renovate the current field house, and add turf a field in the Rye City School District. Alumni and Rye City School District families: you can help move this vision forward.

What GAAP Is Working Toward

The project focuses on four improvements to Rye’s athletic facilities & will be completed in phases.

Create a Fitness Center

Work toward a new space for fitness and training.

Build a New Field House

Raise funds for a new field house for Rye athletics.

Renovate the Current Field House

Turn the current Field House in a concession stand & public toilets.

Turf the Upper Field

Help fund turf for another field in the district.

A Project Powered by the Garnet Community

GAAP began with alumni stepping up for the next generation of Rye students. Whether you’re a former Garnet athlete, a parent or someone who cares about Rye schools, your interest and support mean a lot. To stay connected with other graduates, visit our alumni page.
